Good to look at, good to drive, good to drive...! An all-around supercar that can be driven on the track in city comfort...! Only 30 of these rare Porsches were made in Japan, what more could a discerning Porsche connoisseur ask for... The 2014 Porsche 911 Type 991 50th Anniversary Edition is the perfect modern 911 with a vintage feel...!
September 2013 … Porsche unveiled the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition, a special limited edition model commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 911, at the Frankfurt IAA motor show where the first 911 was unveiled … Only 1963 world premium units named after the year of launch The number of units allocated to Japan at that time was only a few.
At the time, only 30 cars were allocated to Japan. The mere 10 units allocated to the Tokyo metropolitan area were sold out immediately, and there were over 100 people on the waiting list.
This model was intended as a special commemorative model that pays homage to the first 911, with a vintage atmosphere first and foremost, and is based on the naturally aspirated 3.8L 991 Carrera S. It is the only car of its kind in Porsche history that can be said to have been produced in a truly attractive and tasteful way….
The first thing that catches everyone’s eye is the extra 44mm wide body used in the Carrera 4… Special tuning adapts to the increased tread width to dynamically support the 911 Carrera S’s outstanding cornering at 400 hp… Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) was modified and installed for only 1963 units….
The legendary “Fuchs wheels”, which were 15 inches on the first generation in 1963, are visually homage to the original, and have been expanded to a contemporary 20 inches… The 50th Anniversary Edition wheels, painted in matte black with machine polished centers, are a reminder of those good old days. The wheels, painted in matte black with machine polished centers, are a very nice touch that takes the rider back to the good old days….
Chrome trim strips on the front air intakes, engine compartment grille fins, and the panel between the rear lights give this limited edition a truly modern look, while the new Porsche Dynamic Light System with bi-xenon headlights and dynamic cornering lights is a new feature. The Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) is also a truly contemporary item, expressing the benefits of half a century of technological innovation, creating a wonderful mixture of homage to the image….
The rear end is fitted with a 3D badge with the “911 50” logo, which together with the embroidered logo on the headrests and the logos on the side sills, show off what makes this model so special….
The ride is very exciting, as the model is a great representation of a vintage Porsche with a contemporary mix, but the best part is the interior…! The seats are upholstered in a tartan fabric pattern reminiscent of the “Pepita pattern” used in 1960s interior materials, showing the sublime affection for the original 911, and the familiar 5-row meter has the same green label and white needle as 50 years ago… And to top it all off, the meter pivot pins have been fitted with silver caps, a sobbing effect that classic fans will not be able to resist…!
It's not that they are in need of a place to put it, or that they are having trouble keeping it, of course not. but you don't really want to let go of it. The ultimate collection... the last one allocated in Japan...! The latest Let's take a look at one of the most beautiful Porsche and one of the most famous 911s in history. Let's take a look at it...!
The current owner has a deep knowledge of old Japanese cars and famous European cars, especially German cars, and as you can see in the photos, he is taking good care of his precious and coveted collection in a completely air-conditioned environment that resembles a showroom….
He said, “If I were to make a car for the rest of my life, it would be a Porsche…”
As soon as the “50th Anniversary Edition” image was released in 2013, he contacted his local dealer to inquire about it, and when he found out that there was no allocation, he immediately applied to a dealer in Tokyo. When they told me that there were already 100 people on the waiting list for the 10 units they had allocated, I went straight to the dealer in Nagoya and was able to get one of the last 2 units allocated by the narrowest of margins…! He was the very lucky one who purchased the last one allocated to him in Japan.
After purchasing the car, he drove it mainly on highways, but as you can see in the photos, it is now kept as a collection in a showroom-like indoor environment with complete air conditioning, with the engine running regularly. As you can see in the photos, the car is now stored in a showroom-like indoor environment with complete air conditioning.
The owner said…
The owner said, “It’s a really great car… a non-aspirated 3.8L with a dynamic Porsche feeling…” He added, “It’s not that I am in need of a place to put it, or that I have a problem with it, but I really don’t want to give it up… I bought it to make it my life easier. I bought it because I thought it would be the best car of my life…. It’s a really good car.
So why did he want to sell it? Why are you giving up such a wonderful and very valuable limited edition Porsche? I was very impressed with his smile and his reply, “I have to pass the baton to the next owner…”.
In fact, this one-owner car, which is kept in a completely air-conditioned room, is in a wonderful condition, with no defects at all.
The car has never been driven in the rain, and even looking at the undercarriage from the bottom, you can clearly see that the car has been collected in excellent condition.
The mileage is only 12987km, which is a very low mileage.
It is a wonderful car that you can’t find even if you look for it……too rare to find…. Please check out the video to see its beautiful condition and smooth running…!
2014model Porsche 911 Type 991 50th Anniversary Edition... Afterword to the interview...
A non-aspirated 3.8L with 400ps is loaded on the rear overhang…….A precious car that invites those who drive it safely with the benefit of PSM to a different dimension with a very high safety margin with a single gas pedal…….
This is a model that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of Porsche, which can only be understood by those who have driven it….
As one of the enthusiasts of modern 911, I, too, find the classic 911 of half a century ago always fascinating and sublime…. It is very moving to think that the cornerstone of the 911 was passed down from generation to generation and continued to evolve after the millennium, creating the 911 of today. The 4,000 rpms is a very human sensation.
4,000 RPMs, a sound that appeals to the human senses and a heartbeat that echoes through the car…! The horizontally opposed 6-cylinder 24-valve engine, which is described as being similar to “that heartbeat” heard in the mother’s body long ago, has clearly continued to evolve even after becoming water-cooled, entrusting the driver with the technology to safely handle the unimaginable power of those days. It continues to impress those who drive it today…!
It is good to look at, good to ride, and good to drive…! An all-around supercar that can be driven on the track in comfort on the street…! The 2014 Porsche 911 Type 991 50th Anniversary Edition is a perfect modern 911 with a vintage feel…”

What is the best estate sale?
Estate Sale®︎Spremacy is the Japanese version of the North American cultural estate sale, which introduces cars that are filled with the owner’s thoughts and feelings by creating manuscripts based on interviews, and organizing the goods and minds of the owners.
Unlike a cheap purchase where nothing is left behind, we guide and mediate the owner to honestly express his/her feelings and pass the car on to the next generation while keeping the memories in their hearts.
We conduct detailed interviews with the current owner, including past maintenance records and repair history, and cover whether or not the vehicle has been in an accident. If there is a history of major accidents, or if the current owner’s ownership history is extremely short and we do not know the details, we will decline the interview.
The content of this article was written based on an interview with the owner, materials provided to us, and a test drive in the passenger seat during a 5-hour interview period starting at 10:00 on June 9, 2022.
