The true charm of the Cavallo lies in its ease of use.
It requires only a standard driver’s license—no need for a helmet like with a motorcycle. What’s more, in Japan, no vehicle inspection (shaken) or garage certificate is needed, which means it can be easily incorporated into your lifestyle without bureaucratic hassle.

The compact body measures 2.3 meters in length, making it incredibly nimble. It easily fits into tight city streets and minimal parking spaces. Once you experience its amazing turning radius and maneuverability, you’ll find it indispensable for commuting and shopping in busy urban areas.

Under the hood (or more accurately, under the body), the Cavallo features a powerful three-phase motor. As with most EVs, it delivers 100% torque instantly upon acceleration, providing a thrilling and responsive drive. It handles steep roads with ease, thanks to its maximum climb angle of about 15 degrees.
Its rated output is 600 watts, with a top speed of around 45 km/h (28 mph) according to official figures. In real-world testing during our interview, the car maintained a cruising speed of around 50 km/h, making it perfectly capable of keeping up with urban traffic.

The battery system uses maintenance-free lead-acid batteries with a 60V, 90Ah configuration. Charging from a regular home 100V outlet takes around 8 hours in summer and 10 hours in winter. Just plug it in overnight, and you’ll be fully charged and ready to go by morning!

Its maximum range per charge is approximately 90 kilometers, more than sufficient for daily commutes, errands, or school runs. And the electricity cost? An astonishingly low about 108 yen per charge—unbeatable in terms of running costs.

There’s no compromise in comfort either.
The Cavallo comes with proper doors and power windows, forming a sealed interior space that protects you from rain and wind.
Convenient features like an easy-to-use handbrake and a rearview monitor that activates via the instrument panel when reversing provide extra safety and ease of use, even for beginners.

A particularly impressive feature is the electric air conditioning system. This is a rare luxury for vehicles in this microcar class, making the Cavallo a genuinely pleasant ride even during the hot summer months.

Cargo space is another strong point. The vehicle features a rear luggage area with a height of about 90 cm, allowing for practical storage of shopping bags, backpacks, tools, or daily-use items.

Despite its light vehicle weight of around 473 kg, the Cavallo offers great stability. Both front and rear wheels are equipped with 135/70-R12 tires, and the hydraulic disc brakes on all four wheels provide outstanding stopping power and safety.
